I propose 5 years at the level of Impact, since that is the minimum time likely necessary to effect significant change. It is understood that Al Sur may NOT in fact commit to five years of work in any particular area, but a five year thought-horizon is a useful "aspirational" time frame. | |||
The pratical period of the strategy will be guided by two considerations: what do members believe is appropriate for a) a network like Al Sur and b) the time needed to achieve outcomes, and what is "requiree" (if anything) from your commitments to various funders. | |||
